“Spending on art is usually discretionary, so the price you set for your art or craftwork is critical. Likewise, while prices for consulting services must account for an artist’s level of training, knowledge and skills, they need to be flexible. You need to ask yourself why consumers might want to spend the amount you’re asking for your work, or why they would choose your particular skills rather than somebody else’s.”
