The Darwin Festival is held over 18 days and nights, with local and touring performances and events including outdoor concerts, workshops, theatre, dance music, comedy and cabaret, film and visual arts.

The 18th biennial Stanthorpe Art Festival is scheduled to take place from the 26th February – 18th April 2010. Open to all artists with a postal address or agent in Australia, A first prize of $10,000 is to be awarded, with up to $20,000 of acquistions to be made for the Southern Downs Regional Council Collection.

The Stan and Maureen Duke Gold Coast Art Prize is an acquisitive art award and exhibition, open to all forms of art media except photography. This Prize is managed by Gold Coast City Art Gallery and began its life in 1968 with the inaugural Gold Coast Art Prize. The prize entered a new era in 2007 with the support of the Stan and Maureen Duke Foundation.

Multicultural marketing is not rocket science. But it is complex and needs passion, commitment and a willingness to learn. The Australia Council for the Arts has just released a toolkit that addresses multicultural marketing in the arts.

ITEGs provide assistance to visual art organisations and craft and design centres throughout NSW. Public galleries or art organisations in NSW with a proven commitment to the development of exhibitions of contemporary visual art, craft, design and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art are eligible to apply. In 2009, high quality, sustainable projects that involve partnerships between the professional arts and disability sectors are eligible for funding, through the allocation of grants of up to $1000.

Now in it's 13th year Sydney Design is a series of exhibitions, speakers, tours, markets and workshops designed to engage and inspire audiences. Highlights at the festival’s main precinct, the Powerhouse Museum, include Eat Green Design, Young Blood: Designers Market, Australian International Design Awards exhibition and the Design Underground tours.

The Flaxart International Residency Programme is open to all artists living outside Ireland and beyond the United Kingdom. They offer three 2 month residencies in their studio complex in the heart of Belfast. The upcoming residency programme runs from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011 Successful applicants receive a studio, accommodation and a £500.00 monthly stipend for materials.

The Italian Cultural Association MoCA (Modern Contemporary Art), in cooperation with Arte Laguna, organizes the Fourth International Art Prize “Arte Laguna”, directed to the promotion of contemporary art. The Prize is open to all artists, without any limits of age, sex, nationality or other qualification. The prize categories are for painting, photography and sculpture.
