The 18th biennial Stanthorpe Art Festival is scheduled to take place from the 26th February – 18th April 2010. Open to all artists with a postal address or agent in Australia, A first prize of $10,000 is to be awarded, with up to $20,000 of acquistions to be made for the Southern Downs Regional Council Collection.

The Stan and Maureen Duke Gold Coast Art Prize is an acquisitive art award and exhibition, open to all forms of art media except photography. This Prize is managed by Gold Coast City Art Gallery and began its life in 1968 with the inaugural Gold Coast Art Prize. The prize entered a new era in 2007 with the support of the Stan and Maureen Duke Foundation.

The Flaxart International Residency Programme is open to all artists living outside Ireland and beyond the United Kingdom. They offer three 2 month residencies in their studio complex in the heart of Belfast. The upcoming residency programme runs from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011 Successful applicants receive a studio, accommodation and a £500.00 monthly stipend for materials.

The Italian Cultural Association MoCA (Modern Contemporary Art), in cooperation with Arte Laguna, organizes the Fourth International Art Prize “Arte Laguna”, directed to the promotion of contemporary art.
