There are several areas of the Federal Government’s 2009 budget which assist the visual arts sector. NAVA warmly welcomes all the new funding allocations and thanks Arts Minister Peter Garrett for his continuing support.

Applications are now open for Museums and Galleries NSW's 2009 Fellowship Program. This year an International Fellow will be hosted by Boston Children’s Museum in USA. This opportunity is supported by Arts NSW funding through the cultural grants program. A two week placement in Boston is available to a senior museum or gallery manager based in regional and remote NSW.

24HR Art is currently seeking proposals from artists and curators interested in exhibiting work as part of the 2010 Annual Exhibition Program, including experimental video work and contemporary artwork categories.
