Artist Statement

Adrian Davis and Lubi Thomas are a collaborative contemporary art practice exhibiting under the banner Davis Thomas. Their work is often realised on a large scale, in both public and gallery based artworks. the practice is under pinned by their interest in interactivity, the participatory experience of the audience, materiality and ephemerally of objects, as well as expressing ideas of transference and transition; the unnoticed or barely perceivable process of change. In their public art practice Davis Thomas work with location and context to create artwork that has a conceptual relationship both to site and the spatial environment.
