Artist Statement

Most my work explores human industry and the physical and psychological ramifications on man and the natural environment. The isolation and aloness of man in a world that is slowly fragmenting. I attempt to weave irony and metaphor into the fabric of the video. I also believe distortion of sound and image is vital to creating varying degrees of tension. My influences are Albert Camus, Alberto Giacometti and the montage of Eisenstein. I believe dischord is subversive and informative Art Canowindra is based in Canowindra NSW.
