Artist Statement
My paintings focus is in direct relation to colour, light and the material. The oil paint and its intrinsic qualities such as the ability to bulk, shine, and most of all change in time, I find exemplary out of all paints. My paintings can be understood through such physical aspects as the morphing of material after its application takes place including smell and during the conceptual process when I mix the paint material.
