The 31 yo Australian artist and trained colour therapist integrates semiotics and colour psychology to produce artworks with powerful subconscious and sensual triggers. Underpinning each work is a wholesome desire to remind the audience of the universal bond we carry as human beings - emotion and memory - through Kae's application of science in art:
"There is a beauty that comes from the spirit of ‘unity’, the idea that although we exist as individuals, we are inherently bound by uniting qualities such as human emotion, experience, and dreams. Colour psychology and semiotics is a fabulous way to explore and express this." - Leni Kae
Kae has exhibted internationally in New York, London, the Florence Biennale, and across Australia. She was finalist in the London International Creative Comp, finalist in UK's Aesthetica Magazine 50th Annual Works Competition 2008, and has donated artworks that have raised over $5000 to the charity Canteen.
As well as exhibitions, her work has appeared as magazine illustrations, book cover art, and tshirt designs.
