Artist Statement

Working primarily in printmaking and artists' books I am interested in the boundaries between place, landscape and memory. We imbue our memories with all sorts of details and associations, some of which are real and some imagined. What do places mean to us? What do we remember and why? Recent work has been in the form of three-dimensional book objects that fit within the form of 'artists' books', using text and poetry to explore remembrance, loss and connectedness. Of particular interest has been a collaborative book arts project called BookArtObject which can be seen at http://bookartobject.blogspot.com

Hi Sara,

Absolutely love your work Noiseless Patient Spider. I use text in my mixed media work.
