The Australian Artists' Grant (formerly the Janet Holmes à Court Artists' Grant) gives financial assistance to professional artists for the public presentation of their work.

Notification: Two months following the closing date
Amounts available are: $500 + GST for individuals and $1000 + GST for groups
Applications must submitted online by one of the above closing dates. Printed applications will not be accepted.

The Australian Artists' Grant provides assistance towards the costs of public presentation of visual arts, craft and design. This can include, but is not limited to, framing, media releases, media photographs, advertising, space rental, installation costs, promotional printing, mail outs, documentation, freight, travel, equipment rental, insurance, technical assistance and opening costs.
Visual arts, craft and design are broadly defined and include: painting, printmaking, drawing, design, textiles, photo media, sculpture, mixed-media, installation, glass, ceramics, woodwork, jewellery, furniture, performance art, electronic and digital media.
This grant is made possible through a generous donation from Mrs Janet Holmes à Court and the support of the Visual Arts Board of the Australia Council.
The Eckersley’s Art Materials Prize for NAVA Members is awarded to one successful applicant of the Australian Artists' Grant per round who is a NAVA member. The prize is worth $250 in art materials from Eckersley's.
