The National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) is meeting on 27 September with key representatives from other arts, media and legal sectors, to plan a renewed campaign to secure changes to recently passed Australian sedition laws.

The mid September announcement by Attorney-General Phillip Ruddock that he would not be budging, flies in the face of all the advice given by the Australian Law Reform Commission (ALRC), the Legal and Constitutional Committee of the Senate, both charged with this responsibility, other senior legal experts and many arts and media groups.
