NAVA to release Art Censorship Guide

Submitted by mediadesk on Tue, 2008-06-17 11:25.

In response to issues raised at NAVA and Watch on Censorship's public forum 'Art Censorship: The Bigger Picture,' NAVA has announced that it will develop an Art Censorship Guide that is intended to educate artists, galleries, those who wish to lodge complaints about artworks, security personnel and police. The guide will outline the rights and responsibilities of all parties involved, and best practice procedures to follow in the event that complaints are made about the work of artists.
