Sam Battersby (Matou En Peluche), Art Deco Evenings, 2010.

Etsy is one of the world’s largest online marketplaces that, according to its mission “empowers people to change the way the global economy works.” With over 800,000 online shops Etsy has become, in only 7 years, a dominant force in the creative economy.

In this professional development forum we will hear from Angela D’Alton Etsy’s Australian Seller Community Manager on how artists, crafts people and designers can work with Etsy to take their works to market and join this creative community. Angela will be joined by successful Etsy seller Sam Battersby (Matouenpeluche) for the Q&A session.

This session will provide practical information for those interested in understanding Etsy and its philosophical approach along with how to build a market for your products.

When: September 25th 6pm – 8pm

Where: Level 2, The Gunnery 43-51 Cowper Wharf Road Woolloomooloo

Cost: NAVA Members $5, non-member $15

Registration: Numbers are limited. To register for this important event visit navaetsy.eventbrite.com
